Royal Bhutan Helicopter Services flies from Paro over the valley and towards Jomolhari. Flights are priced per helicopter, for up to five passengers, and must be booked well ahead.

Yes. Royal Bhutan Helicopter Services operates scenic flights and charters from Paro. Flights are priced per helicopter, for up to five passengers, and depend on weather, so we build in flexibility.
When is the best time for a luxury holiday in Bhutan?
Spring (March–May) and autumn (late September–November) have the best weather. Winter is quieter and beautiful; luxury lodges fill fastest in October and over Christmas and New Year.
Is a 5-star tour in Bhutan suitable for a honeymoon?
Very much so. Couples often combine a few nights in Paro and Punakha with the Phobjikha Valley, with private dinners, hot stone baths and unhurried days.
How far ahead should I book a luxury trip?
Six to nine months ahead for October, festival dates and the Christmas period, as the best lodges have few rooms. Three to six months is usually enough at other times.
