About This Tour
Beyond the Usual Trails of Bhutan
Some journeys take you to famous places. This journey takes you beyond them.
Experience Bhutan through riverside camping, hidden mountain trails, remote villages, sacred monasteries, white-water rafting, breathtaking Himalayan landscapes, and genuine Bhutanese hospitality.
Designed by a local Bhutanese travel expert, this carefully crafted adventure takes you far beyond the traditional tourist route, allowing you to experience the Kingdom of Bhutan the way very few visitors ever do.
Over eight unforgettable days, you will hike through pristine forests, camp beneath thousands of Himalayan stars, travel into remote mountain communities, relax in natural hot springs, stay with local families, trek above the clouds to Bumdra, and finish your journey at Bhutan’s most iconic landmark — Tiger’s Nest Monastery.
This Bhutan camping tour is more than a checklist of sights — it is a slow, immersive journey through the Land of the Thunder Dragon. Whether you are searching for a Bhutan trekking holiday, an authentic Bhutan adventure package, or simply a different way to experience the Himalayas, this 8-day itinerary blends camping, culture and community in a way few Bhutan tour packages offer.
“This isn’t simply a sightseeing holiday. It is an authentic adventure through one of the world’s most extraordinary countries.”
Most Bhutan tour packages follow the same route, visit the same attractions, and spend every night in hotels. This one was designed differently — by a local Bhutanese travel expert with years of experience guiding international visitors — combining authentic cultural experiences, outdoor adventure, and meaningful local connections into one journey through Thimphu, Naro Gewog, Punakha, Gasa, Bumdra and Paro.
🏕️ Full Camping Support Included
We provide all camping equipment — tents, sleeping arrangements, camping furniture, campfire setup and dining equipment — for your two nights under the stars at Cheri River and Bumdra. Simply bring your personal clothing and a sense of adventure.
Why Choose This Adventure Bhutan Tour?
Many visitors come to Bhutan to see monasteries, fortresses, and beautiful mountain landscapes.
While those experiences are certainly included, this journey goes much further.
Instead of simply visiting Bhutan’s famous attractions, you’ll immerse yourself in experiences that reveal the country’s authentic character. You’ll spend nights camping beside crystal-clear mountain rivers, hike to remote monasteries, explore hidden villages where few international visitors venture, enjoy thrilling river adventures, soak in natural hot springs alongside local families, and trek across spectacular Himalayan landscapes before arriving at the legendary Tiger’s Nest Monastery.
Every day introduces a different side of Bhutan—its wilderness, spirituality, culture, traditions, and warm-hearted people.
If you’re looking for more than a standard sightseeing holiday, this itinerary has been designed especially for you.
